Cabin Retreat

This place is a gem! The property was beautiful and immaculate. We were celebrating our friend's birthday, and the owners were so accommodating. They left beautiful flower arrangements everywhere. The attention to detail was so appreciated. The owners were very communicative and accommodating, even answering us late at night so we could have a fire. If you are looking for a quite getaway close to Nashville, this place is it. You are just a short drive from Nashville if you want to head into town during your stay. Or check out Springfield, which is a great small town with a charming downtown with plenty of shops and restaurants! We enjoyed our stay and will be recommending this place.

The cabin itself is nice. However, the plot of land out on is a little misleading. I was expecting a secluded cabin in the woods. What we got was a summer camp ground with all the cabins on top of each other including the owners house. It was advertised that it was on 50 acres but she only uses 1 of those acres for the cabins. Also when we arrived, the owner was mowing around our cabin. Very disturbing. On top of that there was police called on our neighbor cabin, so that was disturbing. Our goal of peace and quiet was not achieved. It was so disappointing we left a day early. If you are ok with sleeping in a compound or camp type scenario then this place is fine. But if you are looking for peace, quiet and seclusion. This is not the place at all. Had to drive thru some “interesting” neighborhoods to get there too. It’s not really in the country but more on the edge of a city. Just don’t go thinking you’ll be getting any kind of seclusion or peace here though.

Kelly's Jubilee is a very unique property. If you like, Rustic, authentic log cabin, a nice clean, 104 degree hot tub, all the little things you need like: towels, ironing board, wi fi, flat screen TVs everywhere, comfy beds, a beautiful, peaceful surroundings in nature and nice people...this is the place for you. A great get away and stay.
